With Facebook Places being launch in the UK last week, just a few weeks after it hit the USA here is Facebook Login's guide to the new feature.

What is the new Facebook Places?

It's simply a new application for the mobile version of Facebook which allows the user to update their friends on their exact location. It's all about telling your friends about great or exciting locations and venues.  When a user with the places enabled walks into a location Facebook will add this to their feed.

So how does this effect Privacey?

Some of the options are turned on automatically in the users profile so it needs to be opted out of if your not using the service. So by default all checking will be displayed on a person profile.
