It has been reported today that a collaboration between Facebook and Skype is on the cards, allowing Facebook users to talk to one another.  A recent mock version of the service has been seen whereby users will be able to send text messages and call Skype accounts through the Facebook platform.  It seems like a perfect tie up of the two services, simply login to Facebook and you will be able to speak to your friends as well as keep track of their updates.
